Alex Cooper serves as Director of Finance at Banbury, where he oversees investment analysis and financial reporting across the firm’s development portfolio. As part of the development team, Alex plays a key role in driving disciplined underwriting, capital planning, and long-term financial performance.

Prior to joining Banbury, Alex worked as a Financial Analyst at Catellus Development Corporation. In this role, he supported the preparation of financial reports and forecasts, collaborated with asset management on operational analysis, and provided financial support to the Mueller property owners' association. He also brings a strong data analytics background as he worked as a Financial Analysis & Planning Manager at IFS and Capital One. 

Alex holds a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University. His strong analytical foundation and experience in real estate finance enable him to bring a thoughtful, data‑driven approach to Banbury’s financial operations.
